(Al-Haaqa) 69 : 46
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ
Then We will surely cut his life vein.
The Messengers and the believers are commanded to live here keeping the covenant made from the Paradise as explained in verses 2: 27-28; and 7: 172-173, approving the fact that ‘I am none, I have nothing, and everything belongs to Allah-the Lord of the universe’. So it is told in this verse that if Messenger is trying to add or avoid anything in Lord’s Message, Allah will seize him and will cut his life vein. Since it is told in verse 15: 9 that indeed We have sent down Adhikr, and indeed We will safeguard It, the Copyright of It is not reserved upon anyone, and none can publish It by making any alteration in It as explained in verse 41: 41. See explanation 3: 58; 16: 44, 89; and 25: 3-34.
